Your Rights
- Right to withdraw consent at any time using the controls below.
- Right to access what preferences are currently stored for you.
- Right to data portability where technically applicable.
- Contact us for any requests relating to previously collected data.
Cookies help us improve your experience, but their use is optional. If you do not wish to be tracked via cookies, you can adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies, use browser extensions or tools to manage cookie permissions, or contact us to request removal of any related data that may have been collected. You are free to browse our website without accepting cookies or submitting personal information. We honor your choice and ensure compliance with your privacy preferences.
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Most browsers let you review and delete cookies through their settings menu. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to browse this site, though some personalization features may not function as intended.
What Sits in Your Browser
The only thing our consent panel writes is a small preference entry called cookie_consent in your browser's local storage. Think of it as a single ledger line: five categories, each marked yes or no, and nothing that identifies you. It is not sent to us, and it is not linked to the plot details or crop notes you may have shared through the contact form.
Categories, One by One
- Functionality and security storage: always on, used only to remember your answer and to keep the enquiry form working properly.
- Analytics storage: off until you allow it. If switched on, it would tell us in aggregate which feeding and sampling pages are read, so we know where explanations fall short.
- Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation: off until you allow them. They only matter if we measure an advertisement for one of our services.
- Personalisation storage: off by default and not currently used for anything visible.
Signals Passed to Google
If an analytics or advertising tag is connected to the site, the panel passes your choices to it through Google's consent mode, so a category you declined is reported as denied. We do not pass cookie information to fertiliser manufacturers, seed companies or any other business, and we do not sell it.
Declining Does Not Change the Service
Whether you accept, reject or ignore the panel, every page, including prices for sampling, feeding plans and extract blends, stays available, and your enquiry about a bed is read and answered in the same order as everyone else's.
Clearing Your Choice
Deleting site data for kelp-corelab.com in your browser removes the preference entry completely. The panel will appear again on your next visit and you can make a different choice. Nothing is held on our side that would restore the old answer.
Keeping This Page Current
We check this policy whenever a tool on the site changes, and at the end of each growing season when the rest of the site is updated. If a new category is ever needed, the panel will ask you again rather than assume your earlier answer still applies.
Questions
Write to info@kelp-corelab.com or call +81 6 6933 3757 if you want to know what, if anything, has been stored about a visit. Post can be sent to Kelp Core Lab, 2-10-31 Chuo, Joto-ku, Osaka 536-0005.
Storage on Shared Computers
The preference entry lives in one browser on one device. If several growers in an allotment association share a computer to look up feeding information, the first person's choice applies to everyone using that browser until site data is cleared.
No Tracking in Our Emails
Emails we send about readings, plans or orders contain no tracking pixels, and links in them do not carry identifiers. If you open a plan we sent you, we will not know about it unless you tell us.
